Wow, this year has gone so so fast! I can't believe we are in spring here and you are in fall. Welcome to my blog and if you are visiting for the first time, let me introduce you to my darling quilt called Anniversary Blooms!

Nitty gritty of Anniversary Blooms!
I am sure you are all dying to see some lovely photos and here about this quilt. It all started 2 years ago when the American Quilters Society released the 30th Anniversary Dogwood Fabric Collection. They had a competition to design a quilt. I did but didn't get it quilted in time, I finally finished this year. |

DeleteOh my goodness! What beautiful hand quilting and texture. I can't believe how different the quilt looks hanging vs on the bed. That's sure a lot of stitches! And thanks for telling what thread and batting you use.

DeleteOH, MY!!! Lots of wonderful quilting texture here! I've never hand quilted but I know this must have taken lots of time!! Best of luck at the show!
ReplyDeleteThanks, it took two years but I did lots of other quilts in between. I mainly hand quilt and generally get a few done a year. If you have quilts in all the very best also
